How the Ajman to Dubai car lift works

A car lift from Ajman to Dubai (also called pick and drop) is the daily commute without driving through Sharjah traffic yourself. You share the car with two or three riders heading the same way, or book the whole car.

A shared seat costs AED 70 one way, a private car AED 150, and a monthly shared seat AED 2,800 from Monday to Friday. Fuel and tolls are included.

Cars collect from Al Nuaimiya, Al Rashidiya, Al Jurf, Emirates City, Al Rawda and the Corniche, then drop in Deira, Business Bay, Al Quoz, the Marina and Silicon Oasis.

Fare card for the Ajman run

One fixed fare covers the whole trip, however long the traffic takes.
  • The drive itself Fuel across the corridor, whichever route the traffic dictates on the day.
  • Dubai toll gates Salik crossings paid by us, not billed back at the end of the month.
  • Collection at the gate Your building, not a junction you walk to with a laptop bag at six in the morning.
  • A reserved place Booked once, held daily, and not resold if you are running two minutes behind.
  • Cancellation Free up to 12 hours ahead, which covers a roster changed the previous evening.
Where the car reaches you is set by the district you live in.

Where we collect in Ajman

Pickups cover the main residential areas of Ajman.

Al Nuaimiya and Al Rashidiya

The busiest pickup zone, with the most riders each morning.

Al Jurf and Emirates City

Newer tower areas, collected at the start of the run.

Ajman Corniche and Al Rumailah

Beachfront towers, collected from the building entrance.

Al Mowaihat and Al Rawda

Villa and family areas, with pickup at your gate.

Ajman University and Al Tallah

For students and staff living near the university.
The road that follows those pickups is the part riders most often ask about.

Where we finish in Dubai

Drop-offs are grouped by area, so no one sits through a long detour.

Deira and Al Qusais

The closest finish, and the first stop in Dubai.

Bur Dubai and Karama

A short run past Deira, into central Dubai.

Business Bay and DIFC

One of the most popular finishes on this route.

Al Quoz, Media City and Dubai Marina

The longest drive, so these seats go on the earliest car.

Silicon Oasis and Academic City

Reached directly from the E311, without crossing central Dubai.
Which of the two roads gets you there is decided on the morning itself.
Two roads into Dubai, and when each wins

Two roads into Dubai, and when each wins

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) is the usual choice. It skips central Sharjah and leads straight to Al Qusais, Deira and Silicon Oasis, and it works best early in the morning.

Emirates Road (E611) is longer and toll-free. It often wins once the E311 slows, especially for Al Quoz, Media City and the Marina. Your driver picks the road on the day, and the fare stays the same.

A seat each, or the car between you

Seats and whole cars cross over at two passengers, which is the calculation most colleagues and couples on this route end up making.
Best value

One rider

A shared seat is the obvious choice. You travel with two or three others on a set route at a set time.

Two riders

The two prices land within a few dirhams of each other. Taking the car buys a departure time of your choosing and stops at both addresses.

Three or four riders

One car costs less than the seats would, and it is the only way a group stays together with its bags.
In short
Colleagues sharing an address work this out quickly. The same arithmetic applies on the other northern corridors.

Why Ajman fills the early windows

Ajman works as a dormitory for Dubai more completely than any other emirate on the network. Rent is the reason people move there and the commute is what they accept in exchange, which produces a single concentrated wave of traffic every weekday morning.

That wave is the problem a booked seat solves. Leaving at 06:05 and leaving at 07:15 are the same forty kilometres and a forty minute difference in arrival, and the earlier departure only works if somebody else is doing the driving while you finish waking up.

Fares hold at AED 70 a seat with fuel and the Dubai gates inside them, so the morning the road misbehaves costs what the clear morning costs.

Daily, weekly or monthly from Ajman

Three ways to hold the same place in the same car.

Daily

AED 70 a seat, booked the evening before against whatever is free. Reasonable for two or three mornings a week.

Weekly

A run of mornings booked together, priced on the legs taken. Send the days and we confirm the figure before anything is committed.

Monthly

AED 2,800 shared or AED 5,200 private for the working week, ten legs, one payment, and the seat held on the mornings you do not use it.
On this corridor most riders are on the monthly seat within a few weeks of starting.

Drivers who work the Ajman loop

All three checks are verified before a driver is given an Ajman morning.
  • A current UAE licence Verified before assignment.
  • Background verification Completed and held on file.
  • A documented accident-free record Documented rather than declared.
  • The pickup loop Five or six collections across Al Nuaimiya, Al Jurf and the Corniche, ordered to reach the highway before the internal roads fill.
