Car Lift Al Ain to Dubai: Daily Pick and Drop

A car lift from Al Ain to Dubai is a booked seat on the inland run, about 130 km of the E66 Dubai to Al Ain Road, taking 100 to 130 minutes. It is the most predictable long journey we operate, because there is almost nothing between the two ends to slow it down.

The Route

How the Al Ain to Dubai car lift works

The road is straight, fast and largely empty until the Dubai approach. That means the arrival time is decided in the last twenty kilometres rather than spread across the whole trip, which is the opposite of how the Sharjah and Ajman corridors behave.

Fares are AED 90 for a shared seat and AED 190 for the whole car, fuel and tolls included, with a monthly commuter seat at AED 3,500. The people on this run are mostly students, university staff and hospital teams, so it fills at the start and end of a week rather than every morning.

Below: the departures, what the fare covers over 130 km, the Al Ain districts we collect from, where we finish in Dubai, the road itself, and the monthly comparison for a route few people travel five days a week. Six questions close the page.

What the fare covers over 130 km

Fixed before you travel: AED 90 for a shared seat and AED 190 for the whole car across 130 km.
  • Fuel for the full 130 km
  • Salik gates on the Dubai approach
  • Collection at your building, not a meeting point
  • Luggage space for a week away
  • A held seat on the monthly plan
  • Free cancellation up to 12 hours ahead
Students travelling with a suitcase at the start of term are ordinary cargo on this route, not an extra.

Where we collect in Al Ain

Collection covers the city in the order the road out takes them, so nobody waits an hour before the journey begins.

Al Jimi

Dense residential and one of the heaviest pickup areas on the route.

Al Muwaiji

Collected on the way through, adding little to the departure time.

Al Towayya

Steady demand from hospital and university staff.

Hili

Northern end of the city and the last collection before the car turns for Dubai.

Al Mutaredh

Central, and usually paired with Al Jimi on the same loop.
Drops in Dubai cover Academic City, Silicon Oasis, Business Bay, Deira and Al Quoz.
The E66, and where the time actually goes

The E66, and where the time actually goes

The E66 runs almost the whole way, and it is the reason this route keeps to its timings better than shorter ones do.

For the first hundred kilometres there is little between the two cities: open road, few junctions and no city traffic to absorb. A car that leaves on time arrives on time, which is not something that can be said of the northern corridors.

The last stretch is where the journey is decided. Once the road meets the Dubai network the arrival time depends on the hour, and a 07:00 departure loses close to half an hour there that a 05:30 departure never meets.

For Academic City and Silicon Oasis the car arrives from the right side of the city and finishes early. For Business Bay, Deira and Al Quoz it carries on through the morning build-up, which is worth knowing when you pick a window.

Monthly seat or pay per trip

Few people make this crossing daily, so the honest comparison is different from the commuter routes.
Best value

Per trip

AED 90 each. What most riders on this corridor should take, including students travelling at the start and end of a week.

Monthly seat

AED 3,500 total. Worth it for staff who genuinely cross five days a week, which on this route means a minority.
In short
A four day timetable is common here, and we price that case on its own rather than rounding it up to a monthly plan.

100 to 130 minutes. The E66 itself is consistent; what changes is the Dubai approach. A 05:30 departure misses it and a 07:00 departure loses close to half an hour in it.
