Weekly Car Lift Dubai: Choose Your Days

A weekly car lift is a standing booking on chosen days rather than all five. Pick two, three or four days, keep the same seat and driver on each, and pay for what you travel rather than a full monthly plan.

About our weekly car lift

A weekly car lift is a standing booking for passengers who travel on selected days rather than every weekday. Choose two, three or four days, keep the same seat and driver on those days, and pay for the travel pattern you actually need. On the Dubai to Abu Dhabi route, weekly bookings start from AED 100, with the final price based on your route and chosen days.

Weekly car lifts work particularly well for hybrid workers who split their time between home and the office. They also suit students with fixed timetables and consultants who travel to a client site on specific days. Instead of booking a shared car lift every time you travel, you keep a regular seat on your chosen days.

If you travel five days a week, a monthly car lift can usually offer a lower cost per journey. For passengers who need the vehicle exclusively, a private car lift is the alternative. You can also explore the full range of routes and transport options on the Emirates Pick & Drop Lift homepage.

Choosing your days

The whole arrangement rests on naming the days once and then leaving them alone.
  1. Name two, three or four days

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, say, and those hold week after week without rebooking.
  2. The route and window are fixed with them

Same corridor, same departure band, same position in the car on each chosen day.
  3. Swaps need a day's notice

Trading a Thursday for a Wednesday in one week is a message rather than a new booking.
  4. The price follows the pattern

Quoted against your days and route, below the walk-up fare and below the monthly figure.
Permanent changes to the pattern are free. Adding a fourth day is worth checking against the monthly plan, which by then is usually cheaper.

All in, per seat

What a part week covers

Cost is calculated on your chosen days at a rate below the walk-up fare, without reaching the full monthly figure.
  • A held seat on your chosen days
  • The same driver and car on each
  • Fuel and every toll on the route
  • Door-to-door collection and drop
  • Free swaps with a day's notice
  • Pauses through term breaks
Tell us the days and the route and we quote the weekly figure directly. There is no tier table to work through, because the useful comparison is against what you would otherwise pay for exactly your pattern.

Routes that support weekly booking

Weekly seats need a corridor with enough regular demand to fill the gaps on the days you are not travelling.

Dubai to Abu Dhabi

The deepest corridor on the network, which makes part weeks easiest to place here.

Sharjah to Dubai and Ajman to Dubai

Both carry enough weekday volume to release and refill a seat without losing it.

Sharjah to Abu Dhabi

Early departure only, and worth booking as a pattern rather than trip by trip.

Dubai to Al Ain

Weekly rather than daily for most passengers, on the Thursday out and Sunday back rhythm students keep.
Longer routes are booked per trip. A weekly standing arrangement on the 240 km run to Ruwais is really a rotation schedule, which is handled differently.
Keeping the same seat on a part week

Keeping the same seat on a part week

The main advantage of booking weekly rather than daily is having a held seat on your chosen days. Once your schedule is agreed, the same car and driver are assigned to your selected days, so you do not have to arrange a new booking each time.

On the days you travel, your position in the vehicle is reserved. On the days you do not travel, the seat can be offered to another passenger. This is what allows a weekly arrangement to sit between flexible daily travel and a full monthly plan.

Weekly bookings are available on routes with enough regular weekday demand to make this arrangement practical. The Dubai to Abu Dhabi corridor has the strongest availability, while weekly arrangements also operate on selected routes such as Sharjah to Dubai, Ajman to Dubai and Sharjah to Abu Dhabi.

Weekly, monthly or daily

Three arrangements, and the right one is decided by how many days you actually travel rather than by preference.
Best value

Weekly: priced per pattern

Two to four chosen days, a held seat on each, below the walk-up fare and below the monthly plan. Built for hybrid weeks and term timetables.

Monthly

AED 3,500 total
Travel all five weekdays with your seat held throughout the month. For regular commuters, see the monthly car lift plan for a more consistent weekly schedule.

Daily

AED 100 each
The most flexible option for occasional travel, with no seat held in advance. If you only need one or two journeys a week, a daily shared car lift may suit your schedule better.
In short
Anything between one and five days is what weekly exists for, and adding a fourth day is the point where the monthly plan usually takes over.

Weekly Car Lift questions

Choose two, three or four days a week. Five days is a monthly plan, which costs less per leg. One day a week is better booked as a single trip at the standard fare.
