Your Details, and What We Do With Them

This page explains what Emirates Pick & Drop Lift does with your information when you book a ride or browse this site. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version: we collect what you send us in order to get you from one place to another, we keep it for as long as our accounts require, and we do not sell it or use it to advertise at you.

What we collect

Only what you tell us. There is no booking form on this website and no account to create. Everything we hold about you is something you sent us on WhatsApp, said on the phone, or wrote in an email:

• Your name and the phone number you contact us from.
• Pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times for your rides.
• Anything you choose to add — a flight number, a company name for the invoice, that you are travelling with a child seat.
• A record of what was paid and how, because our accounts require it.

We do not ask for, want, or store your card number, CVV or PIN. See payment options for how that works.

What this website collects

Very little, and deliberately so.

• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta pixel and no advertising tracker on any page of this site.
• No cookies for visitors. Reading this site sets no cookie. The one cookie this site can set is a sign-in session for our own staff on the admin panel, and it exists only after a member of staff signs in.
• Server logs. Like every website, our server records requests — an IP address, a page, a timestamp — as part of keeping the site up and secure. These are ordinary technical logs, not a profile of you.
• The maps. There is a full map on the contact page and a small one in the footer of every page. Both are embedded from Google Maps, so Google may set its own cookies when one loads, under its own privacy policy rather than ours. Neither is fetched until you scroll down to it, and Google is the only third party anything on this site is embedded from.

Who else sees it

• Your driver gets your name, your number and the addresses — enough to find you and complete the ride, and nothing else.
• WhatsApp. If you message us there, WhatsApp carries that conversation under Meta’s terms, not ours. That is true of any WhatsApp chat; we mention it because it is where most of our bookings happen.
• Our hosting provider and our accountant, in the ordinary course of keeping a website running and books that balance.
• Authorities, where UAE law requires us to provide something.

We do not sell your details, rent them, or pass them to advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you booked a ride.

How long we keep it

Booking messages and trip records are kept while you are a customer and afterwards for as long as UAE accounting and tax rules require us to keep the financial record. Enquiries that never became a booking are cleared out once they are plainly stale. If you want your details removed sooner, ask — see below.

Your rights

Under the UAE’s personal data protection law you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it, unless we are required to keep the financial record;
• stop using it for anything you did not ask for.

Message us or email [email protected]. We will come back to you within 30 days, and there is no charge for asking.

Keeping it safe

Our booking records sit behind accounts that only our own staff can open, and the admin side of this site is not indexed, not public and not reachable without signing in. No system is perfect, so we keep the amount we hold small — that is the most effective protection there is. If something ever did go wrong with data we hold about you, we would tell you rather than hope you did not notice.

Children

This is a transport service booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect details about children beyond what a parent tells us for a ride — that a child seat is needed, for instance. Children travel with a responsible adult, as set out in the terms and conditions.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works — if we ever add analytics, or a booking form that collects your details directly — we will update this page and change the review date at the top of it. The date there is the honest one: it is when this page was last checked against what the site and the business actually do.
